Patty Shortreed is an internationally regarded singer, facilitator,
and educator. As a young pianist, she earned her first money playing
"Moon River" to win the school talent contest at age 11.
Experiencing life as a professional musician for a brief stint at 18,
she has returned to her musical roots and awakened her voice.
Her debut CD, "One Great Life" featured an original composition as
the title track. She was the founding director of Calgary's
"One World Choir", facilitates voice and empowerment workshops,
is a recording artist, concert performer, as well as a voice and piano
teacher.
A personal highlight was singing on Oprah's stage during a visit to
Chicago in 2001.
Whether singing or speaking, she communicates with presence, connecting
with the deep emotions of her listeners. |
